The Origin
Everything has an origin and this beer’s is Prades. A town right in the heart of a natural park, just a few kilometres from the Catalan Mediterranean coast.
The distinctiveness of this region lies in its climate and its type of soil. Characteristics very similar to those of the great hop-producing regions around the world.

Damm started up a project together with Prades Town Council, the Association of Friends of the Prades Mountains and the Prades Cooperative with a clear goal in mind: to study the feasibility of growing hops in Prades close to the Mediterranean.
After years of observation and several cultivation stages with various varieties, the bitter Nugget variety was identified as the best suited.
This is how COMPLOT IPA came about.

Our Hops
COMPLOT IPA is a complex beer brewed with eight varieties of hops. Each is added at different times in the process to provide more bitterness or aroma in each case.

with this variety we obtain citrus, pine and slightly earthy flavours.

a hop with a characteristic floral and citrus flavour and aroma. Its fruity nuances are reminiscent of melon, peach and apricot.

with this hop we get earthy, floral and fruity flavours and aromas.
tasting notes
COMPLOT SESSION IPA is a golden-coloured beer, slightly cloudy. Its balanced notes of aromatic hops and malt, define the personality of this Mediterranean version of a very refreshing and light Session IPA. Aromas of ripe fruit, mango and tropical citrus notes that reinforce its freshness.
